Villem - Scratch You Out

Harking back to the early to mid 00's liquid, Villem - with tracks due on Utopia & Good Looking - unleashes an out and out roller with great dancefloor credentials. Stepping back from complexity, Scratch You Out keeps things simple with nice pads, devastating sub bass, crisp beats and not a whiff of pretentiousness. A fantastic tune to break up a dark moody set without losing dancefloor momentum thanks to the surging low bass.

Madcap - Consequence

Crusty, techy, danceable, pounding. Adjectives you could use when describing Consequence from one of the founders of Uncertified Music, Madcap. To give you a better idea in case you're left confused, this is tech-laced dark drum and bass with a nice slab funk in the breaks and space age bass effects polishing the tune.

This is a tune which has echoes of D Bridge and Break, as well as harking back to Ed Rush & Optical tunes of old and all the while being wrapped up in Madcap goodness as he adds his own unique touches to the sound.

Boomer - Desolate atmospherics brood like electricity, with the bassline peeking it’s head through the static throughout the intro. Unleashing a barrage of drums but keeping in the steppy d&b rhythmic ethic of not going too mad on the edits, Boomer squelches and rattles its way through deep sub bass elements showing Macc's drumming roots. Subtle yet powerful. Written & Produced by Bob Macc.

Singularity - Short but sweet intro gives you little warning of the amen onslaught about to abuse your senses. Jungle to its core & dub influenced, Phuture-T splatters the madness with beautiful chord stabs and horn riffs to create emotion inside the drum edits. Vocals & flutes signal a short breather in the breakdown, then it's back to business. Essential for the breaks heads! Written & Produced by Tom Van Zeytveld.
